The Victoria area is booming with many new stores, restaurants and shopping centers in the last 2 years. Olive Garden, Kohls, and several new auto dealers have come to Victoria.

Victoria is located between San Antonio, Houston and Corpus Christi and with the strategic crossing of US Highways 77 and 59 is known as the "Crossroads Area", with major traffic flow from Laredo and Mexico to the North & East.

Victoria is also a gateway to the Gulf Coast from San Antonio and Austin..

Victoria's future blossomed as the metro area population exceeded 100,000 people, bringing Victoria to the point where national chains saw the viability of Victoria as a market center.
